Choose your role:
Over the past 30 years, AM has built strong relationships with archives and libraries around the world. We recognise that dominant voices have often overshadowed marginalised communities. By digitising primary sources, we aim to help preserve and make these important materials more accessible. Find out more about our work with archival partners. We seek feedback from the academic community and collaborate with a dedicated team of consultants for each product. Our goal is to include scholars and curatorial experts who can represent the experiences of underrepresented communities.
We continue to increase our efforts to commission essays and features that explain problematic terminology, highlight gaps in archives, explore the complexities of historic archival practices, and provide tools for students to address these challenges. We have taken great care to preserve the historic authenticity of these documents. Any terminology that might be considered discriminatory or offensive today has been preserved to ensure historical accuracy and relevance to the original context.
